The Greeters and Ushers Team is an important part of ministry at Metropolitan Community Church of Greater St. Louis (MCCGSL). The team makes that crucial “first impression” with a friendly smile and welcoming attitude for everyone who attends an MCCGSL service or event.

Greeters are responsible for setting up parking signs; providing as needed assistance for those with physical challenges; directing newcomers; answering questions; and offering a friendly hello to all who enter the church

Ushers are responsible for distributing church bulletins prior to service; providing service as needed for those with physical challenges; assisting with seating as needed once worship has begun; collecting the offering; directing during communion; and bulletin clean up in the sanctuary after service.  Ushers should be sensitive to in-church disturbances and/or media attention.
