Tending the Roots: A Class on Embodied Anti-Racist Practices

  • Metropolitan Community Church of Greater St. Louis 7423 Michigan Avenue St. Louis, MO, 63111 United States (map)

In recognition of Black History month and our commitment to being a church centered on social and racial justice, join us for our next class entitled Tending the Roots: A Class on Embodied Anti-Racist Practices. Together, we will read excerpts from My Grandmother’s Hands and explore the embodied and spiritual practices of healing, forgiveness, and releasing of shame essential to anti-racism work. Together, we will cultivate practices that root us in healing and resilience and resistance.

This class is for anyone seeking to grow as a leader in anti-racism work and embody the values of justice, forgiveness, and restoration. Whether you are beginning your journey or continuing to nurture your understanding, Tending the Roots invites you to the table.

This class will be offered online only.
