Pastoral Transition Team Process

In this time of pastoral transition, we are excited to start the New Year off by engaging in a Listening Process throughout the entire congregation. Our goal is to hear from EVERY member and regular attendee about your experience, hopes, and dreams for MCCGSL. Using your input, we will create our main goals for sustainability and growth to discern our next settled senior pastor.

We have three ways for you to get involved and to share your thoughts!

1. House Meetings

Hopefully, you have already been invited to a house meeting or will be soon.  House meetings are small group meetings, like focus groups, where we will listen to your experiences, opinions, and ideas. If you have not received an invitation by next week, please let us know by emailing transitionteam@mccgsl.org. That tells us we have the wrong contact information for you in our system! 

If you have not been contacted or need to go to an alternative meeting, please fill out this form that includes all of the times available for House Meetings. 

2. One-on-One Meetings 

Leaders from our Pastoral Transition Team will also hold space for 1-1 meetings if you prefer that mode of communication or cannot attend a house meeting. To schedule a 1-1 meeting, sign up on this form. A member of the Pastoral Transition Team will get back to you and schedule your time.  

3. Survey

Finally, we invite everyone – whether you participate in a house meeting, 1-1 or not --  to take the survey out now and due Feb. 8! As we work toward co-creating the next chapter of our MCCGSL, we look forward to hearing what is on your heart and what ideas the Spirit is placing in you.
