AhSa-Ti Nu, Broadcast Director (She/They)

Born and raised in Dayton, AhSa-Ti Nu is a queer multi-disciplinary artist, sound engineer, educator, and activist whose work is rooted in storytelling, music, poetry, and community empowerment. Influenced by gospel, jazz, R&B, blues, and rock from an early age, AhSa-Ti Nu developed a passion for sound and performance that led to earning a BAS in Sound Arts from Ex’pression College for Digital Arts.

With more than a decade of experience in studio production, live sound, and audio post-production, AhSa-Ti Nu has worked with artists including Dave Chappelle, Black Thought, and Joi, while also composing scores for independent films. As a recording artist, AhSa-Ti Nu blends soulful vocals, jazz grooves, reggae roots, and sharp social commentary across projects including the albums REBORN, Nu Dust, and Lyfe Cycles. Through music, film, and live performance, AhSa-Ti Nu creates work that centers the experiences of marginalized communities and invites audiences into reflection, resistance, healing, and joy.
