MCCGSL’s Grief Support Group

You might be navigating grief of some sort: grieving the loss (or anticipating the loss) of a spouse, sibling, parent, deep friend, or loved one; a challenging health diagnosis, loss of freedom, ability, or any other big life change. The holidays can be a time when loss feels even more challenging. This grief group is here to accompany you in the season you find yourself in and as long as you need. 

Rev. Chance Beeler leads this group with help from the pastoral staff.

MCCGSL’s Grief Support Group will start Thursday, November 5th at 6:00 pm at 7423 Michigan Avenue. This group will meet weekly, though every other week will be held online. You are welcome to make one group - online or onsite - your primary group or to go to both. On holiday weeks, an alternative time will be named once the group starts meeting. 

For November the schedule will be as follows: 

  • Thursday, November 5th onsite 

  • Thursday, November 12th, online

  • Thursday, November 19th, onsite

  • Thanksgiving week TBD, online

  • Thursday, December 3, onsite
