Facing our own mortality can be one of life’s most profound spiritual practices. On All Saints Day, we will host a version of a death cafe as we guide one another into a courageous and compassionate exploration of death—not as something to fear, but as a part of life to be met with intention and grace. Together we’ll reflect theologically and practically on topics such as legacy, end-of-life choices, funeral planning, ethical wills, and the spiritual wisdom different traditions offer about dying well. Through guided conversations, personal reflection, and supportive community, we will prepare our hearts, minds, and plans for the inevitable—discovering along the way how preparing for death can deepen the way we live.
