The Faith We Watch

  • Metropolitan Community Church of Greater St. Louis 7423 Michigan Avenue St. Louis, MO, 63111 United States (map)

Movies move us, challenge us, and spark our imagination. From blockbusters to indie films, stories on the screen often echo the deepest questions of faith, justice, and what it means to be human. The Faith We Watch is a program where we gather to watch and reflect theologically across genres—comedies, dramas, thrillers, documentaries, and even the occasional cult classic. Together we’ll explore how film can reveal glimpses of the sacred, confront us with moral dilemmas, and open conversations about God, humanity, and the world we long for. Whether you’re a movie buff or just love a good story, this is a space where faith meets film—and where popcorn is always included. Sign up for updates for this group. Sometimes, we will watch films at someone’s house, other times go to the theatre, and other times show a movie at church. If you join the group you can also suggest a move night outside of what we’ve programmed.
